1. A nighttime adventure at Trail of Lights

Get ready to glow! Bruce Munro’s Trail of Lights is turning Lock Island into a wonderland. Watch as dazzling lights transform nature into art. Perfect for little explorers and big dreamers, this is an evening your family won’t forget.

2. Family fun at the Easter Powersports Show & Shine

The annual event held in Mildura City Heart will be happening on Good Friday, with awesome cars, bikes and even Hot Wheels stunts! Meet power sports stars, enjoy live shows and let the kids have a blast.

3. Riverfront fun for everyone!

Cool off at the Mildura Riverfront Precinct. Splash around in the Water Play Park, relax by the river at Jaycee Park or spark your curiosity at the Powerhouse Place Interactive Touch Wall. It’s the perfect mix of fun, relaxation and discovery for the whole family.

4. Get your baskets ready

Hop on over to the Garden of HOPE Mildura. This awesome spot is hosting their annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday 19 April. Fun for all ages, with games and the stunning backdrop of Lake Hawthorn. It’s a perfect, relaxed family day out and it supports a great local non-for-profit organisation.

5. Ready, set, explore!

From farmyard frolics at SRS Benetook Farm and gem-hunting expeditions at Woodsies Gem Shop to citrus-scented tours at Orange World and fun tractor-train rides at the Australian Inland Botanic Gardens, there’s no shortage of kid-approved adventures.

6. Dive into some lakeside fun!

Escape the city and head to the picturesque Lake Cullulleraine. Enjoy a variety of water sports, cast a line for a big catch or simply relax on the foreshore. The recently upgraded playground, with its thrilling rock-climbing wall and exciting tractor slide, is a haven for kids. Don’t miss Cinema by the Lake, a family-friendly movie night held at Tranquil Waters Caravan Park on Saturday 26 April.

7. Let’s get creative

Let imaginations soar these school holidays. Drop in to the Mildura Arts Centre and dive into a world of creativity with their free school holiday activities.

8. The mighty Murray awaits

Make the most of our weather with a river adventure. Experience the history of the mighty Murray aboard a cruise with Mildura Paddle Steamers and PS Melbourne or enjoy a scenic trip with Mildura Cruises. For a more hands-on experience, hire a pontoon, paddleboat or kayak from Dockside Cafe. Perhaps you might like Wildside Outdoor Adventures guide you on a memorable tour. The choice is yours.

9. Make a splash!

Dive into fun at the All Seasons Holiday Park‘s Splash Park! Even if it’s a bit chilly, the water’s heated for year-round fun. Perfect for kids to burn off some energy while you relax. You’ll need to book ahead for this one.

10. See history in action

See the Psyche Pumps, Mildura’s original irrigation pumps come to life. Running only four times a year, Sunday 20 April is your chance. Watch these historic pumps in action and learn about Mildura’s past. A unique experience for all to enjoy.

11. Shop local at an Easter market

Dive into the vibrant buzz of one of our local markets. Operating on Saturday 19 April, both the Sunraysia Farmers & Makers Market and the Riverfront Boutique Markets will be bursting with unique finds and delicious eats.
