Meet the Maker: Olivegrove Fruits

More than just an ingredient

For the Gallace family behind Olivegrove Fruits, everything is rooted in family tradition and a deep love for wholesome food. Their journey began in 1983 when the family moved to Robinvale, a scenic spot about an hour’s drive from Mildura.

They purchased a historic farm along the banks of the Murray River, once known as Olive Holme and home to olive trees now over 70 years old. Though the Gallace family was already deeply connected to the land, having grown strawberries before, it was in Robinvale, with its fertile soil and Mediterranean climate, that their passion truly flourished.

Starting with stone fruit and vegetables, the Gallace family worked the land with care and dedication. Today, the legacy is proudly carried on by two sons, Mark and Adam, who run the farm together with their own families by their sides. With their hands in the dirt and their hearts in the work, they grow a premium selection of produce including table grapes, avocados, cherries, wine grapes and dried fruits.

And of course, their signature products are the olives and cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil. This dedication to quality was recently recognised when Olivegrove Fruits won a prestigious Gold medal at the 2025 Australian Golden Olive Awards.

As a family-owned and operated farm through and through, Olivegrove believes in the power of good food to bring people together. Their passion lies in growing produce that’s as honest and nourishing as the life they live, and every harvest reflects their commitment to creating wholesome food that nourishes both body and soul. The simple joy of sharing real food with the people they love is the foundation of their work.

Whether it’s drizzling their olive oil over a shared meal or enjoying fresh fruit under the sun, they hope their products help you create simple, meaningful moments with the ones you love – food that brings folks together around the table, just like it’s always done.

You can purchase Olivegrove Fruits’ award-winning Extra Virgin Olive Oil at the Mildura Visitor Information Centre. Their products are also available at other local stockists in our region, including Twenty Seven Café and Providore and Live Well Mildura.
