Trail of Lights
Nature has a nightlife, and it's glowing
Trail of Lights is an immersive walking experience along the Murray River in Mildura, created by British-Australian artist Bruce Munro — the artist behind Field of Light at Uluru. As night falls along the river, thousands of lights begin to glow. Gentle illumination draws out the landscape, light shifting through the trees, quietly transforming a river island after dark.
Walk through 12,500 firefly lights and Munro’s iconic Gone Fishing sculptures. There’s no schedule, no rush – just a space for reflection, connection and wonder.

Fibre Optic Symphonic Orchestra
Discover FOSOTrail of Lights is one half of a larger journey. Opening April 2026 at Perry Sandhills, Wentworth, Fibre Optic Symphonic Orchestra (FOSO) is Bruce Munro’s second installation in the region. Where Trail of Lights invites stillness, FOSO builds to a symphony — 80 fibre optic clotheslines pulsing with colour in time with an original orchestral score. Together, they form a complete emotional arc through light.

Experience Both — Two nights, two landscapes, one luminous journey
Book the Dual ExperienceTrail of Lights and Fibre Optic Symphonic Orchestra are two distinct large-scale light installations by British-Australian artist Bruce Munro. Together, they offer a complete sensory journey of art and nature — from the quiet contemplation of Lock Island to the orchestral celebration of Perry Sandhills.
Two nights, two landscapes, one luminous journey of art and nature. The Dual Access Ticket gives you both experiences at a saving of 20% off standard ticket pricing.
