1. The promoter is Mildura.com (Mildura Rural City Council), 76 Deakin Avenue, Mildura.
2. The giveaway is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and older. Employees of Mildura Rural City Council and their close relatives, and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation, a prohibited from entering.
3. To be eligible for this giveaway, entrants must have purchased valid Trail of Lights tickets for Sunday 11 May. This includes all ticket types.
4. By entering this giveaway, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
5. Entry for this giveaway and details of how to enter will be available via the Mildura.com website and social media accounts (Facebook and Instagram).
6. Opening and closing dates for entries will be:
- 6.1. Open 6:00pm AEST, Monday 2 May 2025; Closes 8:00pm AEST, Sunday 11 May 2025. No entries to the colouring competition will be permitted outside of these dates.
7. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
8. How to enter: Eligible entrants can enter the giveaway by purchasing Trail of Lights tickets for Sunday 11 May. Entrants must:
- 8.1. Complete a ticket transaction on either the official Trail of Lights ticketing website (https://app3.respax.com/public/mrd/?site=MRD) or at the Mildura Visitor Information Centre.
- 8.2. Purchase tickets for entry to the Trail of Lights installation on Sunday 11 May.
9. A single entry per transaction will be accepted.
10. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, natural disaster or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
11. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this giveaway.
12. The prize is as follows: 1 x local produce and product hamper valued at $300.00.
13. The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prize is not transferable. The prize is subject to availability, and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
14. The winner will be chosen at random, from all entries received and verified by the promoter and or its agents.
15. The winner will be announced via Mildura.com’s Instagram and Facebook stories on Sunday 11 May at approximately 8:00pm. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim their prize within 7 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize and pick a replacement winner.
16. The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected.
17. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the giveaway will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
18. The giveaway and these terms and conditions will be governed by Australian law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
19. The winner agrees to the use of their name and entry image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner, or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current Australian privacy laws and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

You are providing your information to Mildura Rural City Council and not to any other party. 21. Mildura Rural City Council will judge the competition and decide on the winner, which will be picked at random from all complete entries via the Mildura.com website and verified by the promoter and or its agents.
22. Mildura Rural City Council shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage.
23. Mildura Rural City Council also reserves the right to cancel the giveaway if circumstances arise outside of its control.
